Thalatta Estate Wedding

Vicky and Shane’s Thalatta Estate wedding in Miami, FL, was one of my favorite weddings I’ve photographed at this beautiful venue. Thalatta Estate is, simply put, a hidden gem — with its lush greenery overlooking the ocean, charming Mediterranean-style architecture, and generous outdoor space, it’s no wonder it becomes “the one” for so many of my Miami couples.

What made Vicky and Shane’s day especially meaningful was how intentional they were in every detail. From the bride growing all of the wedding flowers herself, to carving out time for heartfelt, candid family portraits, to the two of them personally building the seating chart by hand — every element reflected their love and care for the people around them.

As family friends, it was so special to witness their day unfold. Surrounded by loved ones, their outdoor ceremony overflowed with warmth and emotion, and throughout it all, these two were truly each other’s rock. Intentional weddings centered on connection and family are my favorite to capture, and Vicky and Shane’s day was the perfect example of that.
