In the Mountains

If you’ve ever listened to “Feathered Indians” by Tyler Childers, this is what this shoot felt like. This shoot with Sam and Kaylin in the mountains of Provo, Utah was pure heart. Set against their hometown backdrop, it was casual, effortless, and full of love—the kind that doesn’t need to be directed, just captured.

Kaylin wore her grandmother’s vintage red cowboy boots, a sweet and sentimental touch that made the shoot even more personal. Intentional details like this are what make sessions so special.

Shooting in a place that holds history for my couples always brings out something real. The quiet confidence between Sam and Kaylin, their laughter, and the way they moved through the mountains together—it all felt so true to them.
